Dr Sarah Vogt
Dr. Sarah J. Vogt obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming (USA) in 2003 and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman (USA) in 2013. Since obtaining her PhD, she has been a Research Fellow in the School of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering in the Fluid Science Resources Division Group at University of Western Australia. Her research has involved the use of a variety of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques to study a wide range of engineering systems such as gel formation and polymer molecular dynamics; biological uranium reduction; hydrodynamics, dispersion, and biofilm growth in porous media including model and natural systems such as sand and rocks; carbon dioxide trapping within rock formations; and hydrate slurry fluid dynamics.
