Dr Liam McGuinness

Liam McGuinness is a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Quantum Optics at Ulm University, where he has been since 2011. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University in 2002, before receiving BS and PhD degrees from the University of Melbourne. His research interests are in developing new imaging and sensing techniques using solid-state quantum optics. In particular he works on NV centers in diamond and applying their magnetic sensitivity for nanoscale NMR spectroscopy.
